Throughout your adventure on Dinkum, you will have to recover many and various resources, in order to manufacture items or build buildings. Among them, copper ore (Copper Ore). In this guide, we tell you how to recover copper ore (Copper Ore) and how to turn it into a copper ingot (Copper Bar)on Dinkum.

Collect copper ores (Copper Ore)
To recover various minerals, it is necessary, first of all, to have the appropriate license, “The Mining License”. If you don’t have it yet, you definitely need to pay Fletch a visit. It is thanks to this NPC that you will be able to unlock several licenses. The one you are interested in costs 250 Permit Points. Afterwards, you have to buy a pickaxe. This tool can be obtained from John, for 12,00 Dinks.
Once you have the right license and a pickaxe, you can go on a quest copper ores (Copper Ore). You will find them quite easily and quickly on the islands adjacent to yours. All you have to do is spot rocks with red shards (as in the image below). In front of said rock, use your pickaxe. From then on, you will only have to recover copper ores (Copper Ore) in front of you.
Note that for each broken rock, using your pickaxe, you should normally get 3 copper ores (Copper Ore). This is also the case for tin.
Craft copper ingots (Copper Bar)
Finally, in order to make a copper ingot (Copper Bar)on Dinkumyou will need 5 copper ores (Copper Ore). If and as soon as you have this amount, head to the “Crude Furnace”, a brick oven that Fletch must have asked you to build, via a previous quest. So insert the 5 copper ores (Copper Ore) in the oven. After a few minutes you can pick up a copper ingot (Copper Bar).
All you have to do is repeat the operation as many times as necessary. Note that copper is important on Dinkum and you will need it repeatedly.
