On Dinkum, James Bendon’s game, you will have to collect several resources, more or less important and difficult to find. During your adventure, you might need “Mangrove Sticks”. In order to collect “Mangrove Sticks”on Dinkum, you will need several elements, beforehand: the license called “The Logging License”, which you can obtain against 250 Permit Points, from Fletch. This allows ” the holder to buy an ax and chop down trees “. Second, you need an ax (axe). This tool can be purchased by visiting John. This will cost you 1,000 Dinks.
Once you have “The Logging License” and an ax (axe), you can search for “Mangrove Sticks”. To do this, you will need to explore the islands adjacent to yours and find a tropical area. This area is easily spotted: there, you will see banana trees, for example.
When you are in the tropical zone, do not sink into it. Head to the ends of the island instead. Do not hesitate to use your map, if you are lost. Normally, as you get closer to the edges of the island, you will be able to see trees, some of whose roots are immersed in water and whose trunks are rather dark in color (as in the image below).
Approach these trees and use your ax (axe). By cutting down the trees present in the mangrove, you will be able to recover “Mangrove Stick”.
As a reminder, Dinkum was released in early access on PC, in July 2022. The title is available on Steam. According to the latest information shared by James Bendon, Dinkum should arrive on consoles, later.
