Dinkum: Tools and weapons, how to repair them?

On Dinkum, players will quickly realize that the tools and weapons they use break very easily and quickly. Which requires buying new ones, from the NPC named John. Fortunately, there is another solution: it is possible to repair your weapons and tools on Dinkum and we explain how to do itin this new guide.

Buy the Repair Table

As in many other games, such asAnimal Crossing: New Horizons or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildweapons and tools, on Dinkum, have a durability gauge (represented by a green bar, under said element, in your Toolbelt – as in the image below). After many uses, these items break and disappear. Note right away that some tools have more robust versions, such as the copper ax (Copper axis) to name just one example.

However, be aware that it is quite possible to repair your tools and weaponson Dinkum. For this, you must visit Franklyn, who will regularly appear on your island at the start of your adventure. Talk to him and ask him if he can craft something for you. From then on, select Repair Table.

To obtain the Repair Table, it is necessary to have 60,000 Dinks. In addition, certain resources are also requested. Here is the full list:

Once you have collected these materials and the required sum, build the Repair Table. Franklyn will then get to work and you will receive it the next day in your mailbox. Don’t forget to buy the Repair Kit (green box on Franklyn’s desk), an essential item for repair your tools and weapons on the Repair Table. This will cost you 30,000 Dinks.

When you receive the Repair Table, place it in the location of your choice. If you need repair all your tools and weapons, interact with and use the Repair Kit. From then on, you will be able to see that the durability gauges of the said items are, again, at the maximum.
