In addition to Dirk Bach’s longtime and close friend Hella von Sinnen, other personalities also have their say in the book. These include Hape Kerkeling (57), Bastian Pastewka (49), Sonja Zietlow (53), Gerhard Polt (79), Olli Dittrich (65), Frank Schätzing (64) and Udo Lindenberg (75). More than 80 celebrities, school friends and costume designers write personal letters to Dirk Bach, supplemented with photos from his life. Cult status thanks to the jungle camp

The comedian became known in the 1990s for his “Dirk Bach Show”, and he was also seen in the series “Lukas” and “The Little Monk”. The jungle camp finally helped him to his cult status as a moderator. Dirk Bach moderated the format “I’m a star – get me out of here!” from 2004 to 2012 alongside Sonja Zietlow.
