On April 27, Le Nouveau Détective unveiled new information about Delphine Jubillar’s lover, and especially about his wife.
They were quickly removed from the case, but the lover of Montauban and his wife remain persons of interest in the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar – if not for investigators, then for the general public. Impossible indeed to ignore the existence of the lover of Montauban in the file which, since December 2020, has still not found a satisfactory answer. The New Detective looked, this April 27, on the other couple involved, to whom they attributed the fictitious first names of Camille and Jean. Montauban’s lover, Jean, 41, met Delphine Jubillar in July 2020 and did not lie about his marital status. The two lovers will then see each other several times, sometimes at Jean himself in Montauban, Delphine pretending to be one of his piano lesson students.
Camille, still married to Jean, had to attend this little game until, on December 15, 2020, Delphine Jubillar disappeared. Embedded in a news item whose visibility quickly reached the national level, Camille saw her private life unpacked in the public square without being able to do anything. This is perhaps what explains why after going to Reunion for the new year 2021, she stayed there in order to stay away from all this history. The couple formed by Jean and Camille has also officially separated and, still according to The New DetectiveJeans “aspires to remain discreet”. During the disappearance, Jean and Camille were both questioned by the investigators, especially since Camille had been in contact with the 33-year-old nurse just a few days before the disappearance.
Montauban’s lover and his wife have an alibi
On December 13, Camille discovered a message which confirmed her suspicions about her husband’s affair with Delphine Jubillar. She then agreed to separate but, having planned to spend the New Year 2020 in Reunion, asks Jean to wait for his return to initiate the divorce procedure. To Delphine, she sends the following text : “Out of respect for the ten years of love (imperfect but love nonetheless) and the child who is the fruit of it, please do not pursue this adventure.“. However, she realizes that her husband is indeed in love with the nurse and ends up simply take some time to digest this story. The presence of her mobile phone in Montauban on the night of December 15 to 16 exonerated her, as did her ex-husband Jean.
