What really happened at 19 Rue Yves Montand on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020? This is the question that has been plaguing the whole of France for two years now. To answer this, the Toulouse research section organised, this Tuesday, December 13, 2022, a reconstruction at the home of Delphine Jubillarthe last place the 33-year-old nurse was seen alive.
In pre-trial detention since June 18, 2021, Cédric Jubillar attended this reconstruction. Stoic, he was content to answer two or three questions from the investigating magistrates without ever intervening. Nevertheless, an element of the reconstruction has undermined his version. Shortly before 1 a.m., a female gendarme started screaming, reproducing the screams heard by the neighbor and her daughter the night the nurse disappeared. According to Me Mourad Battikh, Delphine’s family lawyer, these cries were heard more than 100m away, confirming the chilling testimony of the victim’s neighbor. “This evening, these cries were heard at 130m without difficulty, which attests to the credibility of the neighbors”indicated Mr. Battikh to The Dispatch.
The defense of Cédric Jubillar unshakable
In the defense of Cédric Jubillar, however, this is not enough to overwhelm their client. “No one is able to present us with something coherent, indignant Me Alexandre Martin. This file remains mysterious, without proof and in this file, one cannot present a solid thesis. That’s all there is today. It is the confirmation of the sidereal emptiness of the accusation” A speech that does not discourage the Delphine Jubillar camp. “No, the folder is not empty. For the moment, however, no version manages to impose itself. This Friday, December 16, 2022, it will be two years since Delphine Jubillar gave no sign of life.
