“The refusal to release has been confirmed by the Court of Appeal,” one of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers, Alexandre Martin, who has already pleaded several times in favor of his client’s release, told reporters. “I take note (…). At the end of the hearing of February 11, we will formulate a new request for release”, for his part reacted Jean-Baptiste Alary, who defends the painter- 34-year-old plasterer since the end of 2020.

A new interrogation, February 11
Tuesday, for the third time since he was imprisoned, the three lawyers for the husband of Delphine Jubillar had demanded the release of their client before the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal, considering that he there are not enough incriminating elements against him.
Delphine and Cédric Jubillar were in the process of divorce and the investigators are convinced of the involvement of the husband in the disappearance of his wife, on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020.
They favor the thesis of a violent argument in their house in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn, during which Cédric allegedly killed his wife, 33, before hiding her body.
The investigating judges in charge of the case summoned Cédric Jubillar for a new interrogation on February 11.
