Nurse Delphine Jubillar disappeared on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 and since then the search has continued to find her. At the beginning of February 2022, however, the investigators had to face a new difficulty.
If the search to find Delphine Jubillar has not stopped since her disappearance in December 2020, these last two weeks could have proved crucial in the investigation. Indeed, as TF1 reminds us, an exceptional system has been deployed with, in particular, soldiers, dog teams and new strategies to look for the smallest plot of land near Cagnac-les-Mines. Only the efforts of hundreds of people gave nothing since, this February 4, 2022, the body of Delphine Jubillar has still not been found. According to the inhabitants of the commune, that does not mean that we should lose hope. “Insofar as we know a little about the case, we say to ourselves that indeed we must go all the way to try to find“explained a cyclist at the microphone of TF1.
Difficult for the inhabitants to move on in view of resources deployed in the region to find the missing. The words of another resident reported by TF1 explain: “We have to think about it. There are the gendarmes, there are the grinders who clean up… We can imagine that there may be a body which is not very far from us but hey, it’s unfortunate”. Whether at the burnt farm that Cédric Jubillar had spoken to his co-detainee or near the cemetery and the photovoltaic park of Cagnac-les-Mines where excavations were taking place until February 4 in the morning, searches for the past few months have been fruitless. But the police are not letting go of the case as the investigation continues.
More promising new leads
Recently these are GPS data from Cédric Jubillar’s cell phone which opened up new avenues. Thanks to its geolocation history, investigators can trace the places where Delphine Jubillar’s husband went in the months preceding his wife’s disappearance. He could then have done tracking in order to find a place to hide Delphine’s body, in which case comings and goings to a very precise location could put the flea in the ear of the investigators. According to the words of Me Mourad Battikh reported by TF1, “We have more hope with these data and these objective elements than with the confused and manipulative statements that emanate from Cédric Jubillar. The family of Delphine Jubillar expects a lot from this data which, it is hoped, will lead to a truthé”.
