Disappearance of Estelle Mouzin: the promising revelations of her father’s lawyer

On January 9, 2003, Estelle Mouzin, aged only 9, disappeared on her way home from school in the town of Guermantes, in Seine-et-Marne. Despite numerous searches and twists and turns, the case was never solved until Monique Olivier confessed in August 2020. In her testimony, she gave indications concerning the possible location of the body of the little girl, in vain. Since then, the relatives of the little girl have not lost hope of finding her one day. Maître Didier Seban, the lawyer for the father of Estelle Mouzin, confided in the antenna of Europe 1 this Wednesday, May 18. The opportunity for him to discuss the organization of a “last attempt“in order to find the body of the little girl.”We don’t despair.” he then added. According to his words, these will take place “just after the summer normally, or at least in the months to come”. Additionally, the file will be “sent back to the assizes”. Nineteen years later, will answers be provided?

In August 2020, Monique Olivier comes out of silence for the first time. A few months later, in April 2021, she admits having played a role in the kidnapping and death of Estelle Mouzin. She had initially indicated that she had “exchanged a few words” with the little girl before leaving the home where she lived with Michel Fourniret in Sart-Custinne. According to her words, she found the serial killer and the lifeless body of the little girl only forty-eight hours later. While excavations have been carried out and they have not provided any element of an answer, Maître Didier Seban indicates that he thinks that Monique Olivier could still help the investigators to locate the body. “Her perversity that she still plays with investigators, magistrates, with everyone. Nineteen years after the disappearance of Estelle Mouzin, new excavations will be carried out. Will these be conclusive?
