Disappearance of Leslie and Kevin: “He had an appointment but…”, a new witness comes out of the woods

Two and a half months after the disappearance of Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kévin Trompat, on November 26, 2022 in Prahecq (Deux-Sèvres), a new witness comes out of the silence.

This is one of the news items that has haunted the news in recent weeks. On the night of November 25 to 26, 2022, Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kévin Trompat, 22 and 21, disappeared after an evening with friends in Prahecq, in Deux-Sèvres. An evening like all the others at their friend Nicolas R., to which another man was invited. Aged about forty, Franck* was also one of the guests. He had never spoken until today, but decided to break the silence in the columns of Ouest-France.

“I stayed until around 12:30 a.m. It was a normal evening, tells the forties to our colleagues. We had dinner, veal blanquette. We actually played video games. Karine, Kevin’s mother-in-law, was present for part of the evening.” In addition to confirming the presence of Karine Prat, who reportedly brought her son-in-law an envelope containing €10,000, Franck certifies that Kevin would have been absent during the evening. However, contrary to what Karine says, who affirms that Kévin would have returned “stress”, Franck claims to have detected nothing strange in the twenty-something. “He had an appointment but he didn’t tell us why. When he came back, I remember, I was sitting by the TV. I watched videos on my cell phone, on Facebook and TikTok. When Kevin came back, he didn’t seem disturbed to me. For me, everything was normal that night.”

“Onyx was not present”

In addition, the witness affirms that Onyx, the dog with which Leslie and Kévin disappeared, “was not present” at the party. As for Tom, the friend with whom the couple was staying, he would have stopped by during the festivities to give them his keys.Tom came quickly to Nicolas, once or twice maybe. I don’t know anymore, it’s blurry, he confides. I don’t know Tom. I know Kevin better. I met him when he was learning at the Prahecq bistro. His dad, Guy Trompat, came to pick him up after his day’s work. I don’t know anything more.”

For the time being, no track has been ruled out by the authorities, who are studying both the thesis of voluntary departure and that of the bad meeting.
