Disappearance of Lina, 15 years old: in Plaine, volunteers continue to look for the young girl three months later: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Almost three months since Lina, 15, disappeared in Bas-Rhin. This teenager was last seen on September 23, 2023 on the path separating her small hamlet of Champenay and the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station. She had to take a train there to join her boyfriend, Tao, in Strasbourg. But she never arrived at her destination. Since then, investigators have been working tirelessly to try to find the teenager and try to shed light on what happened. At the beginning of October 2023, a judicial information for “kidnapping and sequestration not followed by voluntary release of more than seven days” had been opened by the Strasbourg prosecutor, Yolande Renzi. But it is not only the investigators who are mobilizing to try to shed light on this mysterious disappearance. Indeed, a report from BFMTV this Monday, December 18, 2023 reports volunteers who are mobilizing and organizing to find the young girl.

Volunteers determined to find Lina

“I just want this mother to find her daughter”, explains Stéphanie*, one of the two citizen volunteers who explains her involvement in this research to our colleagues. She and her friend Victoire* have been wandering the woods around Plaine since Lina’s disappearance. “We are mothers too, if our child were to disappear, we would like someone to look for him, adds the second. Equipped, both devote part of their free time to hunts in the middle of the woods, sometimes for six hours straight.

On the microphone of our colleagues, they explain that they are helped remotely by a medium who shows them paths to follow and clues to look for. According to them, their research is there to complement that carried out by the investigators, who interview residents, view video surveillance cameras, look for clues among telephone data, among other things. Victoire, after a day spent searching which once again proved fruitless, admits: “There are days when we want to give up but we won’t”. The teenager has not been found for 86 days.
