Disappearance of Lina: the teenager had filed a complaint for rape in 2022: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

History has still not revealed all its mysteries. Saturday September 23, 2023, young Lina disappears in the morning. Around 11 a.m., she leaves her home in Saint-Blaise-la-Roche, a small village in Bas-Rhin. She plans to go to the TER station, take the 12:03 p.m. train towards Strasbourg to join her boyfriend Tao for a shopping day in the city. But she will never succeed. On the few kilometers that separate her home from the station, Lina disappears on the D350. The investigation is still underway in the region to understand what could have happened to this 15-year-old young woman. Investigators are almost convinced of one thing today: that she did indeed get into a car during this short period of time, voluntarily or not. And to try to shed light on this affair which has lasted for more than three months, the gendarmes are digging into Lina’s past. And on Friday January 19, 2024, they made an astonishing discovery. According to information revealed by the local media Latest news from Alsace, Lina would have filed a rape complaint sixteen months earlier.

Lina’s mother’s lawyer steps up to the plate

In her complaint, she accuses two adults of having abused her on the evening of Wednesday May 4, 2022. At that time, she would have spent the evening with several friends at the home of a young man located in La Broque, in the valley de la Bruche. Lina would have ended up with a friend of the host and another young woman. During the evening, Lina, aged 13 at the time of the events, had sexual relations with the two adult men. A few days later, Monday June 27, 2022, she presented herself at the Schirmeck gendarmerie with her mother to file a rape complaint. The people targeted by his complaint are heard in turn. And although they recognize the sexual relations, they assure that they were consensual. A year later, in the spring of 2023, the Saverne public prosecutor’s office closed the case without further action for “insufficiently characterized offense”. Contacted by the local media, Me Matthieu Airoldi, the lawyer for Lina’s mother, expressed his astonishment following such a decision. For good reason, Lina was only 13 years old and since the law of April 21, 2021 which considers that under 15 years old, no consent can be sought. “The dismissal was never notified. We are all the more surprised since we were told that a confrontation was going to be organized between Lina and the two men she implicates. But this confrontation never took place. It’s all the more upsetting for the mother as she constantly asked for the investigation to check whether any links could exist between the two cases.” The two men were interviewed in connection with Lina’s disappearance and still according to DNAthey were exonerated because both had an alibi.
