This Wednesday, February 1, the friends of Sihem Belouahmia, missing since January 26, testified on the BFMTV antenna. During this interview, one of them notably revealed the last message sent by the young woman.
A particularly worrying disappearance. Since this Wednesday, January 26, Sihem Belouahmia cannot be found. The 18-year-old high school student was last seen at 11 a.m. in Grand-Combe, a small town north of Alès in the Gard. An investigation was quickly opened to try to find the trace of the young woman. And this Wednesday, February 1, the case took a new turn because the trail of a kidnapping was privileged. Some hours later, two friends of the deceased gave their testimony on the BFMTV antenna.
During the interview, one of the young women notably revealed when she last heard from Sihem. “The last contact dates back to Wednesday evening, at 00:20. She didn’t tell us anything in particular.”she began, before revealing the content of the last message of the message sent by her friend: “She said ‘good night, we’ll see you tomorrow in class’. And after nothing, no more messages, no calls, nothing at all”.
“She has no bad company”
For the two friends of the young woman, this disappearance can in no way be a flight. “I am with her every day, we shared everything together and I saw nothing. That’s what makes us think it’s a kidnapping.”, they explained. And to add:it’s not in her habits, she has no bad company, we had plans. She wanted to go to a school of communication, she was not at all a bad guy, not at all someone like that“.
Two people arrested after Sihem’s disappearance
A week after the disappearance of Sihem Belouahmia, two people were taken into custody on Tuesday, January 31. It is a man, known to justice, and his ex-partner. “We know he was in contact with her not long before she disappeared. So we know he would have an implication“, explained Mourad Battikh, the young woman’s family lawyer. The authorities advance in particular the hypothesis of a kidnapping with sequestration. “The priority remains the search for the missing person“, affirmed the magistrate, Cécile Gensac before calling “anyone with even minimal information to find Sihem”to contact the police.
