According to Midi-Libre, he would have told the investigators where the body of the young woman was.

Since January 26, the young 18-year-old woman was nowhere to be found after leaving her grandmother’s home. On Wednesday February 1, a suspect was arrested by the police. Aged 39, Mahfoud H. has already been convicted 13 times by the courts for aggravated theft. In 2015, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, along with two other accomplices, for a series of organized gang robberies and armed robberies in the Alès region in 2012, according to our colleagues. The suspect in Sihem’s death was due to appear on February 1 before the Gard Assize Court for a home confinement case dating back to 2011. According to Le Parisien, the suspect and Sihem were cousins ​​by marriage and maintained “an ambiguous friendly relationship”.
