Disappearance Véronique Barrault, actress in “Les Bronzés font du ski”, dies in a road accident


The actress Véronique Barrault, revealed by the film “Les Bronzés font du ski”, succumbed to her injuries in hospital after a motorcycle accident which occurred on Tuesday evening in the town of Camblanes-et-Meynac, south of Bordeaux, in Gironde, reports South West.

The actress was 64 years old.

According to Sud Ouest, she was the passenger of a motorcycle which collided with a car. The 60-year-old driver of the motorcycle survived the accident.

The Splendid Troop

Véronique Barrault had trained as an actress at the Atelier international de Théâtre Blanche Salant. Then she joined the Splendid troupe, where she played under the nickname “Coquillette”.

Known to the general public in the film “Les Bronzés font du ski”, directed by Patrice Leconte in 1979, Véronique Barrault was the play partner of Michel Blanc, Gérard Jugnot, Marie-Anne Chazel and Josiane Balasko. She interpreted the nurse of Jérôme, played by Christian Clavier.

She then multiplied roles in the cinema, notably under the direction of Michel Blanc in Marche à l’ombre (1984) and Josiane Balasko in Ma vie est un enfer (1991), Gazon Maudit (1994), Cliente (2008).
