At around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the Landeck police received a report that a male person on State Road 76 in the municipality of Fließ had first thrown his bicycle over the guard rail and then climbed over it himself and disappeared. Due to the terrain there, an accident was feared. Bicycle found 15 meters below. So the police launched a large-scale search operation. The bicycle was found about 15 meters below the state road, but there was no trace of the man. In addition to two police alpinists, the Landeck fire department and a drone were also requested. Reason: overwhelmed with traffic. With the drone, a person was finally found in the impassable terrain on the eastern bank of the Inn in the area of the Landeck Castle Gallery. It was a 30-year-old Bulgarian. He was rescued uninjured. The reason he gave for his behavior was that he was overwhelmed by the traffic on the L 76 and therefore looked for another route to Landeck.
