In a plane accident in Hundsheim in the Bruck ad Leitha district (Lower Austria) on Sunday afternoon, two people – the pilot (74) and a 15-year-old – were seriously injured. The scene of the accident shortly before 2 p.m. was the Spitzerberg airfield. According to police spokesman Stefan Loidl, the pilot, who is one of the best-known pediatricians in Austria, suffered serious injuries. The 74-year-old was flown from “Christophorus 9” to the University Hospital in St. Pölten. “Christophorus 3” transported the girl to the state hospital in Wiener Neustadt.
