The suspense has lasted long enough … We know that you are impatiently awaiting the results of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin 2021. The deliberation has taken place and we finally unveil the lucky winners of this year. The vintage is very promising.

This edition of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin marked a turning point in our competition in collaboration with the editions Michel Lafon and Pocket. The regulations have indeed changed. While previously it was a short story contest, this year netizens were asked to submit a novel synopsis and chapter. A completely different exercise as the challenge allowed some feathers to try out a new format. In total, 357 aspiring writers have tried your luck with a single imposed theme: daring. All the stories, as different as they are, have been carefully read by our moderator Mathilde who describes this edition as “a year full of twists and turns.”

It was an opportunity for her, but also the jury, chaired by Raphaëlle Giordano, to discover extracts from historical novels, science fiction, but also romances … The choice was therefore diversified to say the least and the deliberation of this year has been lively. What is certain is that each member of the jury took pleasure in discovering these original feathers of literature. Among the 16 finalists, of course a choice had to be made. Finally, we unveil the lucky winners of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin.
