In fourth place is the cat that may be most suited to apartment living. The British Shorthair is renowned for its teddy-like appearance. And it is indeed a quiet cat who appreciates contact with men. But it’s also self-sufficient enough to endure moments of loneliness indoors. Finally, the ragdoll lives up to its name, which means “rag doll”. The moment we take him in his arms, he becomes limp. Of a constant character, he will only annoy you by his constant search for hugs.
