In its energy support program, the Government has promised a check for wood-fired fireplaces. It will be available on December 22, 2022.
On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, the National Assembly voted an anti-inflation extension of 2.5 billion euros to finance in particular an exceptional energy check. As we explained to you in detail, in this envelope, 230 million euros are allocated for households which use, for their heating, logs or pellets, these cylindrical sticks whose prices are exploding.
Gabriel Attal, Minister Delegate for Public Accounts, recently unveiled the outlines. The aid, for each fireplace heating with wood, will range from 50 to 200 euros. The State specifies that this check will be given only to households who earn up to 2,260 euros per month for a single person and up to 4,750 euros for a couple with two children. That is 2.6 million households in total. “The counter will open on December 22.
