The Disneyland Paris parks in Marne-la-Vallée will reopen on July 15 "with limited accommodation capacity." To mark the occasion, we discover a new version of "One day my prince will come."

Who said that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a film that did not live with the times? For the reopening of Disneyland Paris parks, the studios have revisited the film's flagship song. "One day my Prince will come" is interpreted by a man in a new advertisement announcing the reopening of Disneyland Paris. The song takes on a whole new meaning and thus leaves room for a masculine and LGBT + point of view to this famous piece from the studios. A man who dreams of meeting his prince charming one day was still unheard of so far in the Disney universe, although the studios have been trying to be more inclusive in recent years.

Some internet users have welcomed the initiative, although it is somewhat discreet. Indeed, if the effort is real, others dream of seeing new Disney characters openly LGBT +. We remember "Out", a short film available on Disney +, where we discovered a gay character. A great step forward which we hope to be more recurrent soon.

Furthermore, this year, the park was unable to organize the second edition of its Magical Pride. This event, which celebrates the LGBT community at Disneyland, was to be held during the month of June. But the coronavirus pandemic and the closure of Disneyland Paris have resulted in the cancellation of this unmissable event. We therefore hope to find Magical Pride next year in the famous parks of Marne-la-Vallée.
