The 2021 Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin is in full swing. This year again, many of you are trying your luck. We unveil the jury of this edition which is getting a makeover!

You were waiting for it, here it is! The members of the jury for the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin are finally unveiled. Like every year, aufeminin, Michel Lafon and Pocket have launched a literary adventure in the hope of discovering the most beautiful feathers of tomorrow. As you have noticed since the launch of this 2021 edition in August, the aufeminin literary prize has had a makeover! It is now the Grand Prix du roman aufeminin and if in previous years, participants offered news to the jury, the 2021 edition challenged them more.

These are not short stories, but many synopses and novel chapters that we have received. In total, more than 350 proposals were sent, read and published on our platform. We were there and, like every year, it was a real pleasure to read you and see you so inspired. Next step? The deliberation of the jury for the Grand Prix du Roman 2021. Just to make you wait a little longer, while the finalists and then the winners are revealed, here are the members of the jury.

Raphaelle Giordano: president and godmother of this 2021 edition

Raphaëlle Giordano is without a doubt one of the most popular authors of her generation. This year, she is doing us the honor of being the godmother and the president of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin. Olivier Norek, author and former laureate

Olivier Norek published his first novel Code 93, in 2013. He also worked for the small screen on script writing for French television. This remarkable journey began with aufeminin. Indeed, a few years ago, the writer was still working in the police and participating in our literary competition. He was one of the three winners. In 2019, he released a novel by Éditions Michel Lafon which was very well received by critics and the public: Surface. Then, in October 2020, Olivier Norek released Impact which has also been very successful and that we highly recommend. Élizabeth Martichoux, LCI journalist

Elizabeth Martichoux is a journalist at LCI and is at the helm of the political interview show at 8:30 am every morning from Monday to Friday. She receives a political guest there. This year, the show promises to be all the more interesting with the challenges of the 2022 presidential election. She notably participated in the writing of the book These women who rule us, at Albin Michel. In 2018, she comes out The journalists, published by the Blue Cavalier. The editorial staff of aufeminin is delighted to count, for the first time, Elizabeth Martichoux, among the members of the jury for the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin.

Adrien Borne, LCI journalist

Graduated from the Lille School of Journalism in 2006, Adrien Borne was a journalist at RTL at the start of his career. Between 2008 and 2009, he also worked as a political reporter and covered parliamentary debates. Subsequently, he became a presenter at the morning show of RMC and then co-present the newspaper from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on iTélé with Sonia Chroni. Today, the journalist takes stock of the news at midday every Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon on LCI, between news, interviews and debates. He also published his first novel Silk memory published by LC Lattès.

Nicolas Carreau, Europe 1 journalist

Nicolas Carreau has once again accepted to be part of the jury for our literary competition. We know the culture journalist for his literary chronicles on Europe 1. He also produces the literary show The voice is book on the same radio. Following a DEA Political Science, Nicolas Carreau tried his luck in many editorial offices until Europe 1 accepted that he joined the famous radio station. Since then, Nicolas Carreau has not left the microphone ofEurope 1. Literature takes a very special place in his life and in his work with the show The voice is book. The drafting of aufeminin, Editions Michel Lafon and Pocket are delighted to have him once again on the jury for the Grand Prix du roman aufeminin.

Charlye Menetrier-McGrath, author and former laureate

The dirty kids and Happy fools were among the favorites of aufeminin’s editorial staff. Charlye Menétrier-Mcgrath, former laureate of our literary competition, is indeed a very fond author. While she published, in the fall, her new book The tough guys, at Fleuve Éditions, she does us the honor of joining the jury of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin 2021. “Before the literary prize, I had never really written and I didn’t know I was able to tell stories. Élise Nebout, founder of the School of Words

Élise Nebout founded, in 2016, the first writing school with Alexandre Lacroix, editorial director of Philosophy Magazine : “Our ambition is to create an environment conducive to anyone wishing to progress in the art of writing, from a simple speech to … a novel that may one day be published.” Once again this year, she is doing us the honor of being a member of the jury for this 2021 edition. Unconditional lover of words, she also gives us the pleasure of offering the future second winner of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin 2021 a workshop of writing of The Words school.

Julie Cartier: Deputy Managing Director in charge of Pocket

Julie Cartier has been Deputy Managing Director at Pocket since August 2020. At the same time, she manages Lizzie, an audiobook brand of the Editis group. We can therefore count on his expertise and his passion for literature in order to have a sharp and careful opinion on the news that will be proposed this year as part of the aufeminin literary prize, in collaboration with the editions Michel Lafon.

Stanislas Rigot, bookseller at the Lamartine bookstore

Stanislas Rigot is responsible for the Lamartine bookstore, which is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. He is also secretary of the Prix des libraires association. Last year, he agreed to join the jury of our literary competition. This year, we will be able to count him among us again. The opportunity for the other members of the jury to draw on his expertise and his passion for literature on a very specific theme: Audacity. Aufeminin’s editorial staff, Michel Lafon and Pocket are eager to have him read all these synopsis and chapters!

Laurent Boudin, editorial director of Éditions Michel Lafon

Laurent Boudin, editorial director of Éditions Michel Lafon joins us, for the second consecutive year, among the members of the jury of the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin. A second experience of size and totally different since, this time, he will have the pleasure of reading the synopsis and chapters of novels. We can’t wait to hear what they think of your creations!

Elodie Mandel, general manager of the aufeminin pole

After working on the editorial staff of Close and Gala, among others, Élodie Mandel is now director of the aufeminin, Parole de mamans and Beauté Test divisions. For the first time, she joined the jury for the Grand Prix du Roman aufeminin. The opportunity for her to share her passion for literature and her desire to discover new and very promising feathers. The aufeminin editorial team is eager to discover its point of view on this 2021 edition which is marked by daring.

Florence Santrot, director of aufeminin content

Previously Editor-in-Chief of Grazia, Florence Santrot is currently director of the contents of aufeminin, Words of moms and Beauté Test where she develops and directs the editorial lines of these three media. Taking part in the jury’s deliberation is a first for her too. An enriching experience to say the least! A literary agent’s look at this year’s news is what it took. Olivia de Dieuleveult is the director of Dieuleveult Agency and does us the honor of joining again the prestigious jury of this 2021 edition.
