Disgaea 7 confirmed in the West for next fall

First lesson of this announcement, Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless will not give us the blow of temporary Switch exclusivity in the West like its predecessor and will therefore be released simultaneously on all four platforms. The French localization of the texts will also be there, however it will still be necessary to wait until the fall before seeing the tactical RPG extricate itself from the archipelago. Disgaea 7 takes place in the demonic kingdom of Hinomoto, loosely inspired by feudal Japan, and has as its protagonist an arrogant warrior named Fuji. Around him will form the usual band of crazy broken arms, starting with Pirilika in the role of the optimistic otaku. This unexpected duo will be led to sound the revolt against a tyrannical regime.

Disgaea (it is) 7

Amid traditional mechanics including character throwing and counterattacks, Disgaea 7 stands out with a new gigantification technique. As its name suggests, this function allows characters to grow to the point of occupying the entire terrain and therefore doing a lot of damage. True to the habits of the saga, Disgaea 7 will be bloated with systems to increase in power and optimize its troops (reincarnation of objects, improved automatic combat function, online confrontations classified between players managed by the AI). Enriched over the course of the episodes, the saga now has more than 40 character classes, including the 4 new to this opus: Maiko, Bandit, Princess Zombie and Evil Eye. On PS5, PS4 and Switch, Disgaea 7 will be released in a physical edition including an illustrated mini-book and the digital soundtrack for download.
