Disney+: a documentary series on Ed Sheeran arrives on May 3

Music lovers, rejoice: the Disney+ platform will soon welcome a brand new documentary series centered on Ed Sheeran, one of the most popular musicians of our time.

Entitled Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It Allthe program scheduled for May 3 on the streaming service has just unveiled its first images.

Between backstage and private life

This new documentary series in four episodes promises to dive into the intimacy of the British singer, closer to his creative process, in the studio and during concerts. Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All will also propel us to the heart of his private life and the various hardships he has experienced, such as the illness of his wife and the death of his friend Jamal Edwards.

Produced by Fulwell 73 Productions and the duo Ben Winston (carpool karaoke) / Ben Turner (Sunderland: Against all odds), Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All combines personal archives, interviews and unpublished images, and promises to be an essential documentary for fans of the singer.

Ed Sheeran explained the appearance of such a program: “I have always been very discreet about my private life. The only documentary I participated in was only about how I compose my songs. When Disney contacted me to do this documentary, I said to myself that it It was time to show who I really am. I hope people like it.”

The documentary series will be available in full from May 3 on Disney+. A release that also responds to a much more prosaic and promotional consideration: it accompanies the launch of Ed Sheeran’s new album. “-“ (pronounced “Subtract”) two days later.
