Necessarily, the mcu is present in force, with this Friday evening a panel entirely dedicated to animated contentwith the presence on stage of Brad Winderbaum, Head of Streaming, Television and Animation at the house of marvel studios. On the other hand, it will obviously be an alternative universe (with the multiverse, this is no longer a problem) since the story will take place before Captain America: Civil Warbut with Norman Osborn as a mentor for To fart instead of Tony Stark. In terms of characters, the protagonist will have as a best friend Nico Minoru of the Runaways and can count on lonnie lincoln (Tombstone in the comics), Amadeus Cho, Harry Osborn and many others. On the villain side, the Unicornthe Chameleonthe Scorpio, Speed Demonthe Tarantula, Butane, Carmilla Black and Otto Octavius Will be present. Finally, Doctor Strange and Daredevil will also make an appearance, the latter being obviously doubled by Charlie Cox!
Season 2 of What If…? will it be broadcast in early 2023 and a preview was shown to the fans in attendance, in addition to an episode. Apparently, it should be crazier than the first and will notably put Captain Carter (spoiler: the character played by Hayley Atwell in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is obviously not the same) who will face theHydra Stompermeet the winter soldier and fight alongside others avengers, an entire program. We will also be entitled to a struggle between the Asgardians and the warriors of ten rings of Shang Chiincluding a fight between the Mandarin and Odin. Tony Stark will meet on Sakaar with Valkyrie and Hulkwheras’Hello, Scarlet Witch and Black Widow will also appear. More intriguing, the comics of Neil Gaiman Marvel 1602 will be adapted, offering a universe in which Doctor Strange and other superheroes exist during the Elizabethan era. Otherwise, a season 3 is already in production !
In addition to that, the episode with the zombie invasion of season 1 will therefore give rise to the spin off Marvel Zombies where we will find in their camp HawkeyeI’Abomination, Phantom (seen in Ant-Man and The Wasp), Captain America, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch and Okoye. The hero team will include her Yelena, Kate Bishop, jimmy woo, Shang Chi, deathdealer, Red Guardian, Katy Chen and even Kamala Khan. Ikaris of the Eternals will also have an important role, although his nature prevents him from being completely a zombie, there is a group of black widow spiders post-apocalyptic and even a gang of Skrulls playing the bikers.
Finally, it’s X-Men ’97 which will land in the fall of 2023, already confirmed for a season 2while the original series order available on Disney+ has been adjusted to better reflect the timeline. We will therefore find the Professor X, Wolverinethe Wildcat, Cyclops, John Gray, Jubilee, Snape, Diablo (Nightcrawler), Tornado, Gambit, Cable, Bishop, Forge, Morph, Magneto (in a new costume from the comics) and many more where their adventures left off, with their original voice actors. Solar will join them (Sunspot), with Roberto Da Costa providing voice. More interesting, it is Magneto who will lead the band X-Men in the absence of Charles Xavierwhile they will have to face Mr. Sinister. The Sentinels of Trask will also make an appearance.
With all this, the reasons for to subscribe to Disney+ will continue to be numerous in the years to come.
