Disney +: after Pam & Tommy, Sebastian Stan in three roles to see on the platform

The Pam & Tommy mini-series comes to an end this Wednesday with the opportunity for fans of Sebastian Stan to find him every week on the platform. Don’t worry, the actor is showing many other films and series on Disney +.

PAM & TOMMY: IN THE SKIN OF TOMMY LEE

For five weeks now, actor Sebastian Stan has played rock’n’roll Tommy Lee, drummer of the metal band Mötley Crüe and ex-husband of Pamela Anderson, on screen in the mini-series Pam & Tommy. This Wednesday, March 9, Disney+ unveils the final episode of this original creation which looks back on the sextape scandal that turned the couple’s lives upside down in the 90s.

Faced with Lily James who brilliantly and emotionally plays the Baywatch actress, Sebastian Stan redoubles his efforts to embody this role, that of a man known for his escapades and his excessive, sometimes even violent temper. Being a real personality, the interpreter of Tommy Lee has done extensive research on the latter and carefully read his autobiography.

That’s not all since the actor also trained on the drums for months in order to perfect the movements so natural of the rocker. Discover the result now in the Pam & Tommy series, available in full on Disney+.

FRESH: AN ATTRACTIVE BUT DANGEROUS MAN

After his interpretation of Tommy Lee, Sebastian Stan continues to step out of his comfort zone with a very surprising new role in the thriller Fresh, available on the platform since March 4. Mimi Cave’s first feature film tells the story of a romantic encounter that turns into a nightmare and should surprise many.

“More and more, as I get older, when I read a script that really freaks me out and I hear a little voice say ‘Don’t go near it’, I’m all the more attracted to this project, he confides in IndieWire. I find that fear is often a good indicator of whether I need to get into something to maybe understand it better.”

A tasty mix between romantic comedy and horror film, Fresh offers Sebastian Stan the opportunity to show the full extent of his talent with a character that is both funny and seductive, but also disturbing and threatening. The film, which is aimed at an informed audience, is available on Disney+.

THE WINTER SOLDIER: THE ROLE THAT REVEALED HIM

In 2011, Sebastian Stan played for the first time the soldier Bucky Barnes, best friend of Steve Rogers, in Captain America: First Avenger. And if the tragic fate of his character in the film seems to conclude his experience in the MCU, it is far from being the case as fans of the Marvel universe know well.

In the guise of the famous Winter Soldier, transformed into a real killing machine by HYDRA in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, then saved and defended by his friend Steve in Captain America: Civil War, Bucky Barnes becomes a major hero of the franchise. In Avengers: Infinity War, he notably joins forces with the Avengers team to face Thanos.

Ten years after his first appearance in the MCU, Sebastian Stan is offered one of the title roles in the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which allows him to reveal a new side of his character haunted by the past. With Anthony Mackie, who camps Falcon, he forms a shock duo to find now on the platform.

ONCE UPON A TIME: IN THE COSTUME OF THE MAD HATTER

If you already know Sebastian Stan’s filmography by heart, why not rediscover his less often cited role in the fantasy series Once Upon a Time? Responding to the name of Jefferson in the city of Storybrooke, the actor embodies none other than the famous Mad Hatter, an essential character in Wonderland.

Trapped in the real world with the other heroes of the Enchanted Kingdom, Jefferson tries in vain to make a magic hat to find his daughter Grace, who no longer remembers him. The touching role of a father ready to do anything to be reunited with his child, to be seen again on Disney+.
