On Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will have the opportunity to improve the royal tools (shovel, pickaxe, watering can, fishing rod) that they have unlocked at the start of their adventure. Thus, in improving their pickaxe, the latter will be able to break the marine debris, present in certain biomes, including the Enchanted Beach. In this guide, we explain how to unlock this upgrade allowing you to get rid of marine debris (small and large), on the title of Gameloft.

Maui Quests and Pickaxe Upgrade
In order to break up marine debris (small and large), on Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have to complete several quests. First of all, you must have unlocked the kingdom of Moiana (cost: 3,000 Dreamlight). There, you can meet Moana and Maui. By speaking with the latter, you will automatically obtain a slight improvement for your pickaxe. What will allow you to break small marine debris (as in the picture below). An action that you must, moreover, undertake to continue the quest for Moana. Thereafter, you will absolutely have to have invited Maui into your world. On this subject, know that we have concocted a guide explaining the procedure to follow to unlock Moana and Maui.
Once Maui is present in your world, you will absolutely have to increase your level of friendship with said character up to rank 4. From then on, Maui will give you a new quest, entitled “A story of stone and fire”. The first objective is to follow him to the Enchanted Beach and chat with him. Then, Maui will ask you to retrieve an item, a “Stone Scraper”, in the kingdom of Moana. You will find the object in a basket, near the canoe. As soon as you have it in your inventory, go back to Maui and talk to him.
Then Maui will ask you to bring him a 5 star fresh meal. On our side, we had several recipes with this rating: bouillabaisse, ratatouille, ranch salad, potato and leek soup. After crafting the dish of your choice, turn it in to Maui. Therefore, you will get a new upgrade for your pickaxe, allowing you to break large marine debris. All you have to do is reach Maui, at the Enchanted Beach, to complete the quest.
