Disney Dreamlight Valley: What is the maximum level to reach?

Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it’s exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. With 17 characters so far and tons of resources to collect, the game’s lifespan is already colossal, but what is the maximum level your avatar can reach?

What is the maximum level to reach?

As you will have noticed, your character progresses in levels when you collect resources, mine gems, catch fish or carry out any other activity givingexperience. Even giving gifts to your characters can raise your level. Thus, it is rather easy to obtain the exclusive rewards for leveling up but, as the game is still in early access, there is currently a level limit to be reached.

  • Level cap is currently 40

In terms of lifespan, I personally put a sixty hours to reach it but that’s because I took time writing the guides for this portal (and therefore pausing the game regularly). I think it depends a lot on how you play, if you spend time decorating your village for example. The lifespan of Disney Dreamlight Valley fluctuates enormously depending on the player’s consumption, especially since the progression of the avatar is not enough: you must also raise the 17 characters to level 10 of friendship.

Disney Dreamlight Valley

A colossal lifespan

In general, even in early access and with only 17 characters, the game offers a very good lifespan. Currently, I am at more than 80 hours game and I have only one character left to finish but above all a whole collection to complete and even the Pass Voie des Étoiles which I am far from having finished. In short, logically, I still have about thirty hours of play left to complete all these missions and even more if I want to collect all the memories, tame all the critters, buy all the furniture, etc.

Especially since the Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap already gives us appointments for content updates with the Lion King in early fall and Toy Story in late fall. No doubt that before its release in free-to-play in 2023, other updates could take place.

I struggled to approach it but I finally understood how to tame the crocodile in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Without further ado, here is a video on the technique to use and the food to give him.
