Disney Dreamlight Valley: Woody and Buzz Lightyear, how to unlock them?

Thanks to the second major update, freshly arrived on Disney Dreamlight Valley, it is possible to travel to the kingdom of Toy Story. There, players will be able to meet Woody and Buzz Lightyear, which can then join the Valley. In this guide, we explain how to unlock woody and buzz lightyear in disney dreamlight valley.

Unlock Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As you probably already guessed, to invite Woody and Buzz Lightyear to reach the Valley, and so unlock them you will first have to complete several quests. To do this, you need to go to the Castle of Dreams and unlock access to the Toy Story kingdom. Which will cost you 7,000 Dreamlight. Then you have to realize Buzz’s quest then Woody’s.

Unlock Buzz Lightyear

Buzz is the first character you will meet in the Toy Story kingdom. By talking to him, you will get the quest “A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space”. Here’s how to accomplish it:

• First of all, you will have to recover 2 AA batteries, placed in the room, to repair Buzz. You’ll find one near the bedside table (gallery image 1) and another behind a stack of books, positioned on a green box, near the small wooden oven.
• Bring the batteries to Buzz, who will explain that Woody was thrown out the window. This is now locked. You must therefore complete the circuit to open the window.
• For this, Buzz asks you to collect 10 missing pieces (image 2 of the gallery). You will find them quite easily, in the room.
• Bring them back to Buzz then go in search of 5 magic growth cactus (image 3 of the gallery). Again, you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding them. Then place them in different places on the circuit and water them (gallery image 4). This will allow the pieces to be raised. The circuit will then be complete.
• Go talk to Buzz, who will give you a toy car. Throw it on the circuit, from the ladder, placed near the small wooden oven.
• The car will then open the latch and you can go meet Woody.
• Woody wants to rebuild Bonnie’s farm. To do this, you must take a picture of Bonnie’s 4 drawings, positioned in several places in the room. You’ll spot them easily, as the designs are done on colored paper with gold stars (gallery image 5).
• Once that’s done, report back to Buzz.
• All you have to do is return to the Valley, place Buzz’s camper in the location of your choice, pay the cost of construction (10,000 star coins) and welcome Buzz.
• You have, thus, unlocked Buzz Lightyear. The latter became a permanent resident of the Valley.

Unblock Woody

After having unlocked Buzz, you will have to go, again, to the kingdom of Toy Story. There, talk to Woody which will give you the quest “You are my favorite deputy”. To accomplish this, you will have to help Woody rebuild Bonnie’s farm:

• Woody then asks you to bring him 8 popsicle sticks and 5 pieces of pipe cleaner.
  • You will get the sticks by using your shovel on the paper balls.
  • You’ll pick up pieces of pipe cleaner by using your pickaxe on the lollipops, stuck to the ground.
• Once all the materials are gathered, give them to Woody.
• The latter needs 2 yellow daisies and an object “that could consolidate the farm”.
  • You will find said flowers in the Tranquil Meadow.
  • By talking to Buzz, you collect adhesive agent.
• Return these items to Woody. The farm will then be rebuilt, but will not be inhabited.
• Find 5 origami animals in the room:
  • Two elephants.
  • A penguin.
  • A butterfly.
  • A turtle.
• By giving the origami to Woody, Bonnie’s farm will then be complete.
• Finally, return to the Valley to place Woody’s carousel. This will cost you 10,000 Star Coins.
• All you have to do is welcome Woodywhich is then unblocked and became a resident of the Valley.
