L’Expo D23 is a major event highlighting all the Disney franchises and which lasts three days, from Friday September 9 to Sunday September 11, 2022. Stars from around the world, film announcements, conferences dedicated to Spider-Man or even musicals: there is something for everyone. But what interests us here is obviously the great Disney & Marvel games showcase which promises announcements, trailers, and reveals for new and upcoming games from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.

And without further ado, here are all the games that are likely to have their moment of glory during the evening.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor
If it is still too early to show images of Star Wars Eclipse (Quantic Dream), the sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will probably be there! It was during the Star Wars Celebration in May 2022 that we finally got the reveal of this highly anticipated title. With a simple cinematic teaser to get your teeth into for the moment, we of course hope to learn more about this more mature Cal Kestis.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is still happening 5 years later the events of the end of Fallen Order. We then find an older Cal Kestis and we do not know what he has been doing all this time. Notable point: the Obi Wan Kenobi series, currently broadcast on Disney+, takes place precisely 10 years after Order 66. As you will have understood, the timeline of Survivor and that of the series come together to form one. only.
Also note that a new content DLC for LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga seems planned.
Kingdom Hearts 4
Announced during the 20th anniversary of the license mixing the universes of Final Fantasy and Disney, Kingdom Hearts 4 is obviously a game on which we keep a close eye. After a third opus which somewhat divided the community, the fault of a gameplay that was ultimately too dense which significantly reduced the challenge, the most popular A-RPG series from Square Enix goes under Unreal Engine 5, for a new rendering shown quickly in the first trailer. Traditionally the D23 is the moment that Disney and Square choose to reveal more about the KH, fingers crossed that this healthy tradition has been preserved this year, with a good dose of gameplay if possible.
Rather Spider-Man or Wolverine?
With a slot reserved for Marvel, we can only hope for new images of the exclusive PlayStation: Spider-Man 2! Especially since the famous spider-man its sixtieth candle this year, an anniversary not to be missed. We can however wonder if Sony does not reserve a State of Play for it in the weeks to come, then zapping the D23. Instead, maybe we’ll get some news about the mysterious Wolverine game?
Always on the side of Marvel, we must not forget Midnight Suns which does not stop suffering reports. Now scheduled for 2023, will a new trailer be granted to it?
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
With 20th Century Studios on the poster for the conference, we can assume that the nugget of Ubisoft will certainly be presented in detail. Especially since the next film by james cameron will be at the cinema at the end of the year and that we must not miss the boat! Remember, it was at E3 2021 that the studio announced, as a one more thing, its next Avatar game which, as recently promised, should see the light of day before March 2023. As a reminder, this is a First-person action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment – a Ubisoft studio, in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.
Unfortunately, it seems a little too soon for the conference to be the occasion to reveal a content update for Disney’s newly released Dreamlight Valley. With about fifteen characters in its early access, the animal crossing-like is extremely promising and announces a long life if new inhabitants are regularly added!
