Disney has just unveiled the detailed list of the next series and films to come on Disney + and on the Star catalog. Whether you are into films or rather series, you will be served with this great vintage for the start of summer. Follow the leader !
To get the summer off to a good start, Disney+ has some very nice surprises in store for us during the month of July. After an already high-quality batch in June, the platform this time offers its classic The Lion King in live action, as well as French sizes like 120 beats per minute.
Music fans will not be left out since they will be able to revel in a documentary mini-series on the Sex Pistols. Finally, American Horror Story arrives in its entirety in the service’s catalog. Find in this article all the new features to come on Disney+.

New movies on Disney+ and Star in June 2022
The Lion King
In 2019, the live action remake of The Lion King was released, directed by Jon Favreau. The film remains the same, except that we are treated to breathtaking computer graphics that bring to life the decor imagined by Disney for its cult film of the 90s.
120 beats per minute
While the AIDS epidemic is raging, the Act-Up association is stepping up shock actions in Paris to alert the authorities and the population to the seriousness of the situation. Carried by the formidable performances of Adèle Haenel and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, it is a film to see absolutely.
Lining
Caught in the act of deception by a paparazzi, Mr. Levasseur uses a certain François Pignon (him again) to allay his wife’s suspicions. The valet then finds himself living a life that is unknown to him.

Pistol
This documentary mini-series is a must-have for punk and rock fans in general. Pistol goes back to the origin of the movement that shook the UK and then the rest of the world in the 70s to change the face of music and society forever.
American Horror Story
With 10 seasons, American Horrory is coming in full to Disney+, something to delight all fans of the series and of horror in general. Each season takes place in a different place and time, so it’s impossible to get bored.
