Toy manufacturer Lego has announced a new set in cooperation with Disney: the Sanderson sisters’ witch house from Hocus Pocus will be available in stores from July 4 for 229.99 euros. Lego VIPs can purchase it online as early as July 1st.
The set consists of 2,316 blocks and contains seven figures. In addition to the three sisters Sarah, Mary and Winifried Sanderson, Max Dennison, Dani Dennison and Allison Watts and the cat Thackery Binx are also included as Lego figures.
The idea for the set came from fan designer Amber Veyt. She submitted them through the Lego Ideas website. Here, fans can present their ideas for new Lego products and receive a share if they are implemented as sets.
Coming to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the 1993 cult film, the Hocus Pocus set isn’t the only gimmick for fans. Disney has already announced that the film series will be expanded with a third part.
