You are a Disney+ subscriber and you want to know how to watch your favorite films and series offline. A feature that can be very practical, especially when you are traveling and do not have access to the Internet, whether via WiFi or on a 4G or 5G network. If you take the train or the plane and want to pass the time watching the new French series Irrésistible or rewatch the complete Lost, offline viewing is essential.

It could not be easier. All you need to do is download your content upstream. Like most streaming platforms, Disney+ offers an offline mode which allows you to watch your content without an internet connection. Please note, however, that this functionality is only available on tablet and mobile.

How to download your content offline?

• The ideal time to download your content on your mobile or tablet – which are data intensive, especially if it is a series – is to do it at home or at the office, where you have a good wifi connection . In fact, avoid downloading using your mobile data. If these are limited in your subscription, your bill will be affected.

• Then choose the content you want to watch quietly when no network is available.

• Click the “Download” icon next to “Play” or “Resume” and the “Playlist” icon. All you have to do is wait for the download time and that’s it!

• However, if you do not have a WiFi network available and you want to download your content to your mobile data, go to the application settings. You will see that, by default, downloads are authorized “via wifi only”. All you have to do is uncheck the option and you can proceed with your download.
