Disney+ goes 4K HDR on PS5
If your only option for watching Disney+ programs was through your PS5 (or if it was more convenient for you that way), good news, your experience will now be improved.
The Disney+ PS5 application is already available and thus allows you to enjoy films and series in 4K with HDR support, at least for programs that offer this. Jerrell Jimerson, executive vice president of the service, says:
“ A key part of our global expansion strategy is to go where consumers are, which is why we’re excited to enhance both Disney Plus and Star Plus for PlayStation 5 users. Supporting 4K HDR video streaming on the platform will also improve the viewing experience for fans. »
Once downloaded, simply go to the “Media Content” tab in the console menu to launch the application. What to enjoy in the best conditions of Disney programs, such as Marvel and Star Wars films and series, if that’s your hobby.
