Almost 2 months ago, disney was proud to announce that the mini-series Obi-Wan Kenobi would be broadcast from Wednesday, May 25, 2022, one episode per week. Finally, for a cloudy commercial reason, it’s not exactly this day that the soap opera will start on Disney+.
The video-on-demand platform has just released a message from lead actor Ewan McGregor, who turns 51 today, in which he explains that the series will start on Friday, May 27, 2022 instead.. Remember that Friday was initially the day of broadcast of the series Marvel and Star Warsbut that Disney+ had changed his tune with Loki : he therefore returns to his first approach.
The good news is that we will be entitled to 2 of 6 episodes ofObi-Wan Kenobi from the startto plunge us directly into this story located after Revenge of the Sith. May 27 will therefore be a day to mark with a red iron for fans of Star Wars ! If not yet, you can subscribe to Disney+ for €8.99 per month or €89.90 per year.
