Disney+: our tutorial for deactivating automatic playback (very useful for parents!)

Are you tired of autoplay on Disney+? We show you how to deactivate this feature in a few clicks.

Autoplay is a way for streaming platforms to encourage you to watch more and more. This is the very notion of binge-watching and the reason why they (most often) put an entire season online. Is your episode ending? The next one will launch without you even having to press your remote control.

Practical when said remote control is far away or your child has hidden it somewhere in a corner of the house. But it’s a little less so when your toddler is allowed to watch TV and episodes of Paw Patrol come on without you even realizing it (that’s why the parental control feature is also practical!). But don’t panic, you can deactivate this feature in a few clicks.

To begin, you will need to click on the profile at the top right then on “edit profiles”. You choose which one you want to configure.

On the next page, you can turn off autoplay. Once it’s done, click FINISH at the top left. Then again on the next page. It’s done !

And that’s how in just a few clicks, you’ve disabled autoplay on Disney+. You will be able to enjoy the end credits, without another program launching. And you will actually be able to control the number of cartoon episodes your offspring watches.
