Disney and Pixar characters will find themselves this year in a Mario Kart-like on PC and consoles, with tracks inspired by iconic universes such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Mulan, The Jungle Book or Monsters & Cie.
Gameloft announced the release in 2022 on PC and consoles of Disney Speedstorm, a new free-to-play racing game based on the popular licenses of Disney and Pixar. In this very arcade racing and fighting game à la Mario Kart, you will embody the emblematic characters, like some who are already revealed in the trailer (Jack Sparrow, Mickey, Donald, Sulli or the Beast) in circuits inspired by the Disney universe: the quays of Pirates of the Caribbean, the forest of Mowgli, the Great Wall of China of Mulan or the sets of Monsters and company.
The line-up will be enhanced over time as the game takes the form of a game-service with continuous development. If we don’t have the name of the compatible platforms yet, it should be cross-platform, with solo challenges but above all a local and online multiplayer mode. Like the brawler Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, this new game promises to be very fan service in its category.
