Disney has just changed its release schedule. The studio is pushing back “Star Wars: Rogue Squadron” to an indefinite date, and dates the live versions of “Snow White”, “Mufasa” and “Haunted Mansion”.
Disney has just updated its calendar and date its next films in live-action. We already knew that The Little Mermaid would reveal its underwater world on May 24, 2023, so we learn that the new version of Snow White worn by Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot (the Evil Queen) will be released in our theaters from May 20. March 2024.
Mufasa, the Lion King prequel about Simba’s father’s childhood by Barry Jenkins, will roar in our cinemas on July 3, 2024.

The big-eared studio also shifts the film inspired by its attraction The haunted mansion of 5 months. Instead of being released on March 8, 2023, Haunted Mansion will be visible in our theaters on August 9 of the same year.
The feature film directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People) is carried by a 5-star cast including Jared Leto, Jamie Lee Curtis, LaKeith Stanfield, Winona Ryder, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish and Hasan Minhaj will meet again in the terrible abode.
The attraction had already given birth to the film The Haunted Manor and the 999 ghosts with Eddie Murphy in 2003. In this new version, Rosario Dawson comes to settle in New Orleans with her son and meets LaKeith Stanfield there, a widower who once believed in the supernatural, and a medium (Tiffany Haddish).
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron in danger?
Scheduled for December 20, 2023, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is also postponed to an indefinite date. If until now the date of this new part of Star Wars had not been impacted, the film has just been withdrawn from the line up from Disney’s parent company.
According to the American site Puck, Patty Jenkins and the leaders of Lucasfilms would not be able to agree on the scenario of this spin off which must follow a new generation of fighter pilots. The future of the feature film therefore remains uncertain.
