Between the first season of Andor and the third of The Mandalorian, Disney+ has another film project Star Wars to offer us. It is season 2 of The Bad Batch, spin off of The Clone Wars centered on the Clone Force 99 which has already had 16 episodes in 2021.
A first trailer was released last May, and while the first episode’s broadcast date is set for January 4, 2023, a second trailer even richer has just been revealed. The season will therefore open several months after the events of Kaminowhile the Bad Batch, Omega and Gingi continue their interstellar journey in a universe dominated byEmpirefollowing the fall of the Republic. They will find new and familiar friends and foes during their mercenary missions on more or less exotic planets. Palpatine, cid, Rex and Rampart will be back, while a character named Phee Genoa voiced by Wanda Sykes (Black-Ish) is confirmed in the casting.
