Disney has been an integral part of the world of animation for 100 years. We’ll introduce you to all of the studio’s films and tell you how to watch the films in the correct chronological order.
Walt Disney founded his world-famous film company a hundred years ago, which has been providing us with exciting stories for generations. Over the decades, numerous film classics have been created under the Disney umbrella.
It all started in 1923 when brothers Walt and Roy Disney founded their small Disney studio in their uncle’s garage. After the company separated from its first film distributor, Walt Disney invented the cult character Mickey Mouse and thus laid the foundation for a constantly growing company. When the costs of employees and other productions became too high, Walt Disney decided that he had to save his company with a full-length animated film.
This is how “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was created, the Oscar-winning first feature film from Disney. The film adaptation of the fairy tale was a huge success and ensured that we have received numerous other films of this kind over the past 100 years.
We introduce you to all of the Disney studio’s animation and cartoon films and divide them into helpful categories. So you are perfectly prepared for the next film marathon!

What would Disney be without its princesses? For many, the magical stories of the courageous heroines are the epitome of the classic Disney film. Who doesn’t love it when we swim through the seas with Ariel or dance through the ballroom with Cinderella?
There are 13 Disney princesses in total, all of whom appear in their own films or have important roles in other heroes’ stories. They include: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana and Raya. The royal circle is completed by the two sisters Anna and Elsa, who also experience fairytale adventures as queens.
