Several new features are arriving at the beginning of 2024 in the Disneyland Paris park, before the planned opening next year of the “Arendelle” section dedicated to the Snow Queen. In terms of shows and parades, day and night, new productions were launched in January. We take stock.
What are the new Disneyland Paris parades called?
In 2024, new parades and shows will be created including old heroes from Disney stories as well as new ones.
Daytime parade: colorful and crazy
A new show will be inaugurated on February 10, 2024, entitled “A million splashes of colors“, (a million brush strokes or touches of color) this hyper visual show will take place in front of the castle 4 times a day. On 3 floats inspired by pop culture highlighting and celebrating Disney cartoonists, music but also the stories, you will find 18 characters and 12 dancers. As much a traveling show as a parade, it will be enhanced, among other things, with 2 original music. It will be performed until September 30, 2024.
To note : before February 10, find the “Disney stars on parade”, also 4 times a day, for a duration of approximately 30 minutes.
A drone parade after dark
From January 8, 2024 to mid-September a new nocturnal spectacle lights up the sky and the castle. As an introduction to the “Disney Dreams” show, the drone parade called “Disney Electrical Sky parade” is a 7-minute show above the castle, consisting of light shows, music and 50 drones recreating a story.
To note : a version without a drone exists for evenings when the weather and bad weather do not allow them to fly, guaranteeing a spectacle.
What time is the Disneyland parade?
Parade times vary according to the seasons, mainly due to the time of nightfall. For example, in winter when the night sets earlier, here are indicative times. To find out the schedules in real time, download the Disneyland Paris application (available IOS and Android).
Daytime
- “Disney stars on parade”, it can take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. At the moment (in winter) it starts around 5:30 p.m.
Evening
- Disney Electrical Sky parade: approximately 7:50 p.m. in winter.
- Disney Dreams night show: approximately 8:00 p.m. in winter.
