To start the year off right, Disneyland Paris is enchanting the sky with the first “Disney Symphony of Colors,” which begins this week. At the heart of this experience, we find a unique nighttime parade of hundreds of drones, which will amaze visitors.
Disneyland Paris is launching its very first electric drone parade, thus confirming its appeal and its mastery of a technology that the amusement park has been testing for two years now. The destination launched, on Monday January 8, 2024, a new experience, the Disney Symphony of Colors, the major event of which is a nighttime parade of drones celebrating the heritage of the electric parade which, in the past, paraded on the famous artery Main Street (1992 to 2003). The show, “Disney Electrical Sky Parade”, is a new technological feat.
500 drones illuminated in the sky of Disneyland Paris
The “Disney Electrical Sky Parade” show is a sort of high-flying reinterpretation of a show which marked an entire generation of visitors, who will be able, with all the others, to rediscover the emblematic parade in a modern version and, it is necessary say, dazzling, until September 30, 2024.
During this show enhanced by Sleeping Beauty’s castle, up to 500 drones, disguised as luminous floats, come to life in the sky, evoking classic Disney characters. Iconic figures such as Mickey’s Train, Elliott the Dragon and Cinderella’s Carriage come to life with impressive synchronization, creating an immersive visual experience for enchanted viewers.
The electro-synth-magnetic music, reinvented for the occasion, adds a captivating sound dimension to the parade. She guides the drones in a synchronized aerial ballet which reinforces the magical atmosphere and creates a true visual and auditory symphony.
The high-flying shows have been going on for two years
Once again, the creation of this electric drone parade is the result of the collaboration between Disneyland Paris and Dronisos, a pioneer and European leader in the field of drone shows. The association has given birth to other remarkable nighttime productions, including the impressive show produced on July 14, 2023, still in the famous park.
“Disney Electrical Sky Parade” therefore follows in the footsteps of other recent nighttime productions, including “Disney D-Light” and “Avengers: Power the Night”. This electric drone parade is just the first act in a series of colorful experiences to discover during the Disney Symphony of Colors, with the Disneyland Paris teams promising us a continuous festival of enchantment and wonder.
Among the events of this first part of 2024, the destination with 15 million visitors in 2022 will see the reopening of its most famous and luxurious establishment, the Disneyland Hotel, and the arrival of a new show at Walt Disney Studios, its second park, called “Alice & The Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland”, on the theme, you will have understood, of Alice in Wonderland.
