A verbal argument between two Bulgarians ended on Sunday evening in Innsbruck for a 46-year-old with serious injuries in the clinic. His brother-in-law (47) hit him on the head with an iron bar. There was a lot of alcohol involved.
The drunk 47-year-old was so enraged by an argument with his brother-in-law shortly after 9:30 p.m. in an apartment in Innsbruck that he grabbed an iron bar and hit the 46-year-old on the head. The attacker then fled from the scene.
Suspect arrested
“The seriously injured man collapsed unconscious after the description of the course of events and was brought to the Innsbruck clinic by the emergency doctor after the first aid,” the police said. His brother-in-law was eventually arrested at his home address and transferred to the police detention center for further investigation.
