Call for witnesses, divers… An important system put in place to find Julie

As reported South Westthe Lot-et-Garonne gendarmerie reported on its Facebook account, Saturday December 9, 2023, the disturbing disappearance of Julie, 38 years old. The thirty-year-old left her home in Condat, a small town attached to the town of Fumel, the day before at the beginning of the afternoon. She hasn’t heard from her since. “Anyone with information that could advance research is invited to contact the Fumel gendarmerie directly at 05.53.40.44.90 or by dialing 17”specifies the Facebook publication, which also details Julie’s physical characteristics. The young woman is 1m70 tall and was wearing a pink floral dress at the time of her disappearance. Barely 24 hours later, the police launched a major effort to try to find Julie. In addition to this call for witnesses, three divers from the Arcachon nautical brigade were mobilized to probe the Lot, which borders the town of Fumel. Work in difficult conditions due to the significant start of the river.
