Fans of the cult series "Dittsche" still have to be patient, but can already mark an important date in the 2021 calendar.

The shooting of the improv comedy had to pause due to the corona pandemic, the 29th season of the series was suspended after episode three. Now the WDR on twitter announced that it will continue in spring 2021. From March 7th, the station will show seven new episodes of the cult format with Olli Dittrich (64).

As a spokeswoman for the WDR explained to the media magazine "DWDL", two episodes are made up for consequences that had to be postponed due to the corona. The other five are part of the new season. Until April 18, Dittrich can be seen in flip-flops, sweatpants and a striped bathrobe.

The show "Dittsche" has been around since 2004. Olli Dittrich plays the unemployed title character who ponders life and current events at the bar of a Hamburg snack bar. Other leading actors are Jon Flemming Olsen (55) as snack bar owner Ingo and, since season 26, Jens Lindschau as toad's son Jens.
