This new film will bring together Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux and Kristen Stewart and will be released in French cinemas on May 25, after its presentation at the Cannes Film Festival.

After eight years of absence, David Cronenberg is back, and through the front door, with a selection at the Cannes Film Festival in official competition for Future Crimes.

First disturbing and intriguing images of a future where the body is a spectacle

For this new feature film, the Canadian director known for Fly Where History of Violence finds Viggo Mortensen, his favorite actor, and also stages Léa Seydoux and Kristen Stewart.

Future Crimes will offer us a dive into a universe where the transformation of bodies and organs is now an avant-garde spectacle. A mysterious group will come to meet the two artists staging these modifications in order to take advantage of their talents to reveal the next stage in the evolution of the human species.

A whole program therefore, and the first images unveiled, as strange as they are intriguing, suggest that the film will not spare the viewer. To learn more, appointment is made on May 25, the date of the theatrical release.
