DIY lip liner with micellar water and eyeshadow

Lipliner is an absolute all-rounder. It ensures that the lipstick color does not run out at the edges – this is particularly helpful with bright tones. But it can also be used very simply to emphasize the natural shape of the lips or to fill them in. If you don’t have the right lip liner color at hand, this handy hack might be just what you need.

Here’s how it works: All you need is micellar water, an eyeshadow in a color of your choice and a thin brush for application. In the first step you moisten the brush with micellar water, then you go into the palette and pick up the eyeshadow color in circular movements. In the next step, you draw your lip heart and the lower lip bow. Finally, apply the desired lipstick color – the pout in your favorite color is done.

“Pride is a journey, not a destination” – Douglas campaign LGBTQIA+ community

In recent years, Pride Month has attracted more and more public attention. Media companies report on LGBTQIA+ issues, activists mobilize allys and corporations support the community with Pride campaigns. But especially with the latter, the criticism of rainbow washing is getting louder. The motto is: Pride campaigns yes, but please do it right. And right in this case means letting people who have to suffer discrimination from the queer community, who have something to say, have their say. And that’s exactly what Douglas did with his third Pride campaign “THIS IS HOW WE PRIDE”. In an emotional campaign, influencer Riccardo Simonetti, models Bonnie Strange and Tarik Tesfu, network activist against racism and homophobia and Douglas make-up artists Paolo and Jeroen speak out in favor of individual diversity. It is a cross-target group call to work together for more acceptance, tolerance and freedom.
