Expected in the coming hours or days, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is revealed a little more each week. And we are heading towards a solid upgrade.

The successor to the DJI Mini 3 Pro is about to get laid! The DJI Mini 4 Pro of its name has not yet been made official, but we already know that it will still be as light as its predecessor while benefiting from improved performance. Price-wise, you should obviously expect a slight increase compared to the current model.

A DJI Mini 4 Pro as svelte as ever

On his X.com account (formerly Twitter), the specialist @Quadro_News shared photos of the packaging of the DJI Mini 4 Pro, some characteristics and the price of the little gem from the Chinese manufacturer.

But let’s start with weight. The DJI Mini 4 Pro will obviously remain in the so-called “open” category, but more importantly, it will always be classified C0, that is to say among drones weighing less than 250 grams. Count in fact 249 grams for the DJI Mini 4 Pro. You will therefore always be able to fly your drone by registering on the AlphaTango platform to obtain your identifier, always obligatory as long as your aircraft, and this is the case of the Mini 4 Pro, is equipped with a camera. But all this can be done without having to take the short, highly recommended training course, and without registering the drone with civil aviation.

New advances in shooting

As for features, drivers should be able to record HDR video in 4K at 100 frames per second, compared to 60 frames per second for the DJI Mini 3 Pro. This welcome little gap should be accompanied by a 2x hybrid zoom, with better video quality when you try slow motion. We can’t wait to test this setting!

Without much surprise, the autonomy should be the same as on the Mini 3 Pro, with an announced flight distance of 20 kilometers, which we already know will not be reached, Europe limits it, and the 20 kilometers being only theoretical anyway. Omnidirectional obstacle detection should be included. The video module would be carried by a 48-megapixel main sensor as well as a 24-millimeter lens with f/1.7 aperture.

Finally, let’s talk about price, the crux of the matter. The DJI Mini 4 Pro alone should sell for 799 euros, or 60 euros more expensive than the launch price of the Mini 3 Pro. Without a remote control, therefore. A DJI Mini 4 Pro version + RC-N1 remote control could be offered, for an additional 90 euros. The drone accompanied by the RC 2 remote control will be sold for 999 euros. As for the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo (drone, two additional batteries, a bidirectional charging station and the shoulder bag), it should be offered at 1,129 euros. Head over to Clubic soon for more details on the mini-aircraft!
