And for good reason, Djibril Cisse posted on his Instagram account with blue and yellow Lidl sneakers, sold for 12.99 euros in stores. What a priori could seem like a joke is actually very serious. Since their launch in Belgium a few weeks ago, this pair of sneakers, inspired by the model Nike Huarache, are torn away today from more than 450 euros on resale sites.
"Never forget where mom was shopping!"
In the photo in question, the 38-year-old former footballer appears with blue hair, also with the Lidl t-shirt. A total look that allowed him to pay homage to his mother, who is used to the German supermarket: "A huge thank you, never forget where mom was shopping", wrote Djibril Cissé in legend, with several emojis of applause. He also took the opportunity to wink at the comedian Sagalove, waiting for the pair of sneakers for several days: "Yakooo don't cry!"
In the comments, the photo published by the sportsman three days ago caused a lot of reactions, especially among his former football colleagues.
