Through an atypical extension, the Opera GX browser aims to filter all content related to Valentine’s Day from your browsing experience.
Never the last to offer atypical features and often more funny than really useful (deletion of your browsing history when you die, excessive customization, etc.), Opera GX is back with a new feature for Valentine’s Day. With Heartblocker, a free extension available for installation via a dedicated website, the browser dedicated to gamers aims to erase as much of the influence of the lovers’ party as possible during your web browsing.
Hide this heart that I cannot see
Once installed, the Heartblocker extension offers several things. First of all, the text replacement functionality allows you to automatically change romantic words and expressions (Valentine’s Day, kiss, etc.) with something more neutral (February 14, mouth-to-mouth contact, etc.). Then, the tool blocks predominantly pink images and allows you to make any part of a website monochrome. Finally, an Emo mode allows you to go up a notch and replace words with sadder terms and transform pink into black.
You have until tomorrow, February 15, to destroy love in Opera GX.
